The Gunship began its life as a quick doodle — part of a daily sketchbook exercise — but  grew into a full-blown design project culminating in a cutaway illustration. 

I grew up in awe of the works of Stephen Biesty, Hans Jenssen, Richard Chasemore, and Matthew Cushman. Cutaway illustrations are some of my favourite projects to work on, and often the conclusion of personal designs that I fall in love with … like this one!
