For the 2017 edition of Yellowknife’s arctic-themed horror and sci-fi film competition , I brought some 3d into the mix, animating a suspenseful one-shot reveal of the festival’s de-facto mascot, the ‘Zombear’.
Just as with previous years, I pitched and developed the piece based on artist Cody Fennel‘s promo artwork, and also mixed the audio and SFX.
